Book Release Party in El Paso

Barnes & Noble El Paso ReadingBarnes & Noble El Paso Signing

Thank you, thank you to everyone who came out to Barnes & Noble in El Paso this past Saturday. The kickoff reading, signing and book release party went fantastic! In fact, Barnes & Noble completely sold out of The Time It Snowed In Puerto Rico!

I felt terrible for the handful of people who’d waited nearly an hour in line for a signed copy only to arrive with none left! Luckily, B&N did a rush order and they promise to have a large shipment by the end of the week. So all you El Paso readers, they’re on their way! However, if you want a guaranteed copy, feel free to order online at,, or from any of your favorite online booksellers.

A dear 81-year-old Puerto Rican reader

I was delighted to meet so many readers who are as excited about my book as I am. One reader said she bought her book on Friday, finished it by the following day, and graciously spent her Saturday afternoon waiting to get it signed. Well, I was completely undone and immensely appreciative! Another reader was an 81-year-old Puerto Rican woman who sat front and center, so excited to jump into a story that would take her back to her homeland. I was deeply honored to have met her. And so many more. I could tell story after story of dear, new reader friends I met. Thank you to all of you! Your support means everything.

Next stop: Washington, D.C. on Labor Day weekend. If you live in the Washington, D.C. metro area, mark your calendars. I’d love to see you there!

Yours truly, Sarah

Two lovely readers
